About TFLF

The Flood Legacy Foundation began in the way many callings do: through brokenness, late-night conversations with God, and yes, even some tears.

We are not a perfect team. We are not led by perfect founders. We serve a perfect God whose mercy keeps outrunning our limitations. That is what makes this work sacred. That is what makes it real.

These pages exist to tell a story. His story, lived through healing hearts and a shared hope for what the Church can still become.

Furthermore, each of our programs and services are available at no cost. You are welcome to read our financial policy for details.

Our Mission

The Flood Legacy Foundation exists because healing is holy, calling is costly, and hope is still worth proclaiming.

Restoring Shepherds

Behind every sermon, there is a story. Behind every pulpit, a wound. Pastors and ministry leaders are not immune to heartbreak. They are often the first to feel it. Here, they are no longer required to perform, to prove, or to push through. Here, they can breathe again.

We offer sanctuary. Through clinical care, therapeutic resources, private intensives, and a place to simply be, we invite the weary shepherd to step away from the pasture long enough to be found by the Shepherd of their own soul. Dr. Flood has even written a comprehensive book to help pastors navigate one of ministry's most painful challenges: When Sheep Bite, a timely resource on toxic church culture. You can find it here.

Equipping Servants

The call to serve does require preparation. Through our training initiatives, certification programs, and experiential learning, we offer grounded instruction rooted in Scripture, shaped by real-world ministry, and steeped in grace. We equip leaders who know how to serve and how to stay. Anointed does not always mean ready. With the right support, they will be.

Proclaiming Hope

Through programs like Marital Triage (an 8-week restoration initiative for couples in crisis) and Plug-and-Pray™ (a 16-week marriage enrichment group model for churches), we seek to equip entire communities with healthy marriages, pointing to the Church as the model. We also share hope through books, music, and podcasts. From the grieving widow to the burned-out believer, this part of the mission is for them. Hope has never stopped speaking. We will not either.

Our Story

The Flood Legacy Foundation that will impact families for generations does not stand on acres of marble or behind stained glass.

Right now, it actually resides in a 40-foot RV in Priceville, Alabama.

Inside these narrow walls, visions are being born. Prayers are being sown. The ground is shaking with the quiet confidence of purpose taking root.

To be certain, this foundation does not rise because of Lance and Deanna Flood, but despite them. What will make this mighty is not the stuff of earth, but the God of heaven, who delights in working through weakness.

After all, the story of the Flood was never about the ark.
It was about the rescue.

And this is our rescue mission.
